If you are a carer, Swansea Carers Centre may be able to help make things easier for you. They deliver a wide range of local support services to meet the needs of carers in our community. These range from support services centred around the carer’s needs as well as the person you care for.

Carers have different needs and Swansea Carers Centre will provide you with the right information regarding health and wellbeing, welfare benefit entitlements, counselling, respite, and grants for holidays, equipment and support. This support will make a positive difference to the lives of carers across the City & County of Swansea.

Swansea Carers Centre is a specialist voluntary organisation providing much needed support to carers and former carers across the City & County of Swansea by providing: 

Swansea Carers Centre is a local charity which gives much needed support and information for carers across Swansea by providing:

  • welfare benefits advice
  • respite care
  • access to small grants which can help the carer in the caring role, Ie; equipment
  • advocacy services
  • a counselling service
  • carers mutual support groups
  • training
  • consultation opportunities
  • social events

They support people who care for those with an illness or disability including learning disability, mental health problems, physical disability, dementia and other long term limiting illnesses.
